I have always been interested in a career that allowed me to help others. Going to law school would give me the knowledge to protect other’s rights, as well as my own. Going to law school is challenging and would help me grow as a person and a student. In addition, I have always loved reading and I would like to pursue a career that would involve reading and analyzing. Lastly, I would like to be an attorney because it is a very fulfilling career and aligns with all my goals for a profession.

Growing up, I heard being an attorney was something incredibly mentally demanding, and a profession that individuals do just for the money. However, I developed quite the interest for the law profession when my father said I would make a great attorney. Whether he was joking or not, I looked into the profession and fell in love with it, developing a deep passion for corporate and civil litigation, being intrigued by the legal and ethical side of a business. With very many corporations being incredibly powerful in this nation, it is upon my best interest to be deeply invested in them from a legal standpoint.

I’m interested in the legal field, specifically criminal law, because I want to advocate for justice and protect individual rights. It would truly fulfill my life to give justice, allowing those affected by the case begin healing from the trauma. Lastly, seeing my client’s life progress since the case would bring me joy as an attorney.

I want to pursue a career in the legal field, specifically the criminal justice system, to solve the systemic issues in our state and federal court systems. The opportunity to help a person by fighting for them in the court of law brings me immense satisfaction in regards to my goal of making a difference in the world.

I started studying law because I have always known I wanted to help people. Advocacy for underrepresented people is so important in today’s society. I wanted to fight towards a more fair and equal society.

Ever since I joined the debate club in high school, I fell in love with the process of researching a particular standpoint and arguing for it. When I was 16, my parents told me I should look into law school because they could see how passionate I was for debate… and the rest is history!

I’ve wanted to go into law ever since I was little. My family living overseas has experienced a lack of good healthcare and treatment, which resulted in my aunt having botched eye surgery that left her blind in both eyes. Unfortunately, her doctor still remains with a license. This experience has motivated me ever since to help people attain justice when they can’t help themselves.
